C.S. Lewis Square

Last week hubby and I enjoyed a rare afternoon out in Belfast's East Side which has a newly opened tribute to famous author and Christian apologist, C.S. Lewis who was born here and most famed for
'TheLion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" And Chronicles of Narnia.

Here are five (plus!) photos from our visit.

This is the Searcher by Roger Wilson depicting Lewis stepping into the Wardrobe

Aslan is a 3 metre tall bronze sculpture by Maurice Harron - isn't he fabulous?

Maugrim is a frightening creature and almost seems to leap out at you!

Then there is the White Witch, trying to cast her icy spell..

 I love her snowflake cape!

This was a little space of creative genius and imagination and it did feel like we had stepped into another land.

A great day!

Hope you enjoyed and check out more Five on Friday with Amy at

Happy weekend!
