Five on Friday

We had a recent trip to IKEA so I thought I'd show you our purchases for Five on Friday today, hosted by Amy of Love Made My Home.

1. Three galvanised metal plant potholders for my kitchen window sill. i think they have a nice country farmhouse appeal.

2. I admit to loving and collecting baskets! Of course I really needed a new basket for the bathroom!
It provides great storage possiblities!

3. Another confession and this time it is my lack of a green thumb.  Its common knowledge that plants do not thrive for me. IKEA has a fab selection of faux plants so this is the latest one to adorn the bathroom sill.

4. My daughter loves miniature cacti so these were for her room.

5. A farmhouse pitcher in white. Love the simplicity of this and it was perfect for the willow stems I bought on vacation.

There are lots of other great products I had to leave behind for another day but we will be back.
IKEA has a great selection of homewares at reasonable prices.

There's lots to see!

Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. I've never been to an IKEA...we don't have any in Nod... But everyone I know who has been to one, absolutely loves them...and from your purchases, I can see why. I used to have bunches of house plants, but decided the space was better utilized for prims and antiques LOL. The few plants I do have remaining are mostly faux also. They do them so well these days. Happy Friday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  10. I enjoy visiting Ikea- they have great accent pieces like you've shown for reasonable prices. But we have to take a 90 minute ferry over to Ikea, so I don't get there very often. That's probably a good thing for the budget!
    Happy weekend.

  25. I love Ikea but my husband can't stand it. He likes "precision shopping" whereas I like to browse and get inspiration. And I do believe that one can never have too many baskets! x
