With the Easter holidays upon us we decided to visit the Ulster folk Museum and take a step back in time to see how life was lived over a hundred years ago in rural villages and farms.
Ir was full of primitive delights for me! Oh the simplicity of their lifestyle - but undoubtedly full of hardship.
The windows were all so small in the cottages.
Loved the lacework window dressing.
This was a fantastic piece of cross stitch.
I'm not convinced about the bedding though the quilts were amazing!
Loved the old churn and butter crocks
It was a great visit and I will share some more in my next post.
