Happy Weekend!

The weekend is upon us again and I have enjoyed a week less fraught with deadlines and more relaxing time for stitching at leisure.

I also wanted to show you a little bear I made with the remnant of faux fur and with a pattern by Brenda Gervais.  Just keeping him simple with a wool scarf.

I've been busy needle punching and hope to have it finished by Monday.
Are you working on anything this weekend?
Have a fun weekend what ever you do!

Best wishes

  1. Hi Miss Christine,

Well, since I am a teddy bear my first love is my family and then all bears and animals. Mom puts God first but 'cause I am whimsical I don't want to be disrespectful about God. He is THE first in my family.

  2. He is a very nice bear. I think I would like a bear like that sitting around too. He has such a wise and knowing face.
I like his scarf too. Have a lovely weekend. Isn't it nice to sew just because you like to and not because you have to?

  3. Evening Christine, love the bear, you are very talented my friend.Blessings Francine.

  4. What a cute bear that is. I've been wanting to start some projects but can't get myself going although I haven't been able to find much time either

  5. What a perfect little bear! I tore pieces of plaid to make ties for a couple of my bears today. I love bears and dolls! I'm going to try to finish a rag garland this weekend! Sweet hugs, Diane

  6. Happy weekend to you, Christine! Your bear is absolutely precious! He reminds me of a teddy bear my dad had when he was a child. My grandma gave it to my mom and she still has it :)

    Hugs to you!

  7. Your bear is exquisite, a real delight.
