Ever thought of making a putka pod tree for your fall decorating?
Here's one I made earlier!
But be warned!!! This is extremely time consuming, fiddly and sticky in a fun, messy kind of way!
Here's what you'll need:
A large bag of putka pods
Florist's cone - not the type you soak
orange colored fabric remnant
That's when I used some orange/brown fabric to cover the cone instead.
Here's the awkward part. You need to cut each pod in half and this way they go farther and stick on flatter.
And believe me, a hot glue gun is the only way to make the pods stick and stay on!
So if you have the time give it a go!
