Whole Lotta Love #10&11 STAR STRUCK

Well hello again! After a power outage and internet problems following it I'm back, trying desperately to catch up with everyone's posts, comments and emails.  I'm just resigned to the fact that I've missed a couple of days of the chain.  I now have a greater admiration than ever for anyone who posts on their blog daily! What dedication!

I've lots of pics and will let them do the talking for as you can see I love stars and I love punched tin as well
Love the rusty tin texture and powder blue paint

One of my prim makeovers with stars I punched in!

Wonderful wool sheep and star - doesn't come better than this!

Americana star - more love!

  1. A very nice collection of star.
When I get way behind like that I tend to get overwhelmed. Someone suggested just wiping out the emails and the reader and starting fresh. If you miss a few posts no one will blame you.

  2. You have lots of pretty stars Christine. I found a tutorial on how to make one like the blue on in the first pic. You make it out of a cereal box. It's on pinterest if you are on there.

I haven't tried it yet but I want to.

  4. Oh just lovely. I love stars almost as much as hearts. I didn't know you had a selling blog until today. I wonder where I have been. You had a bunny in your side bar that you won, could you email me and tell me where the pattern came from if you know, I would love to make one.
I love that bowl with the stars.

  6. Hi Christine!! I'm definitely a star girl!! Loved seeing all of yours. How I wish you had been with me today---I went to our antique store (huge) in the mall and saw...wait for it....a pre-civil war pie safe with stars on the 12 punched tin panels. SIGH...such patina...You and I would have wrestled for it. LOL! Have a great week! ---Jan

  8. Even your profile pic is a star:) The first is my favorite. I have a few of the big tin ones on the wall too. There is just something about them that prim lovers love. Your punched ones are cool. I bet they give off a neat design when you have them all lit up. Great collection. -Steph-
