New Hearts

Good evening and welcome!  Glad you stopped by so that I can share some new patterns with you! And yes I'm still doing Valentine's!

It's been a hectic week.  I feel as if I was back at school helping my older two revise and study for exams all week so I've been struggling to fit in blogging and stitching and as ever, there are so many ideas running around my head, and I'll never get time to do them.  That's FRUSTRATING!!!!

But I did stitch up these little pin keeps just to use up remnant squares of fabric.

I'm so sorry this will not turn for me - hope you don't strain tour neck!

The above 2 little patterns are free for you to copy and stitch up for your own pleasure.

This one is my latest design and if you are interested in purchasing the pattern for $5.00, just email me!

We had a good fall of snow this week and I tried to capture it falling softly in our neighborhood~
My son made Fred Bob, a jolly snowman!

But it has rained all day and now there's little or no snow left.  That suits me just fine!

Well that was the week that was and I also want to thank you all for your comments on my last post - you are why I love to blog!

Have a lovely weekend!
Best wishes

  2. Very Pretty! I just love what you make and I am just going crazy over hearts too. I know Valentines day is going to be here and gone.
Your snow looks nice. I imagine I would be glad if it was gone that fast if you know, we ever had snow. It has rained all day and when it isn't raining it is foggy. Perfect day to sew.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  10. Hi Christine, your stitcheries are so darling! I would love to do that kind of cross stitching. What are they stitched on? Is it burlap? Just so so cute.

  12. Great stitcheries Christine. I also like Fred Bob. Your rain is coming our way tomorrow I guess! Exams in January in elementary school? I didn't know some countries had it at that time. Always assumed everybody has exams right before the longer vacations (Christmas, Easter, Summer), like we have.

  13. Love the hearts, but of course Valentines day is super special to me.

Looks like your son had fun in the snow. We rarely see enough to do that here but my daughter always hopes.

    Hey...want to join a SAL?

  15. Oh Christine, the snow just finally melted away yesterday and my bad mood went with it. I really don't like it all all. Suits me just fine to have it gone too:) The snowman is cute. Kids are so creative with the final details. I love the way stitching on burlap looks. So pretty. -Steph-
