A Few Friday Finishes!

Happy Friday, dear blogging friends! Thought I'd share a few finishes, the sum total of this week's needlework. I don't know about you, but I seem to have less and less time to craft :-(

Anyhow, when I saw this free chart from the Primitive Hare's blog I immediately downloaded the chart and started stitching! I plonked it here among some hearts~

I also made this little bird from a free pattern by Sassafrass Hill and made a little wool heart for it to carry in its beak

I came across another great cross stitch blog, The Little Stitcher, and found some really lovely charts and had a go at the snowdrop though my picture doesn't do it justice~

BTW, I'm hoping someone can help me fix yet another blogger glitch. When I try to add new blogs to my list and hit save, instead of saving them it just sits there saying Saving... but never does even after I've waited ages. There is no fix for this on the blogger help pages that I can see either. So frustrating!

Wishing you all a blessed weekend! Thank you all for bringing me joy!

  3. Lovely finishes!
Wish I could help with blogger, I keep getting scripts that won't load, even on a bracnd new computer, a lot of the blogs freeze and won't load. Sometimes it is very frustrating. Hope you get the problem resolved, have a great weekend.

  4. Wonderful 'finish' to the pattern...and the hearts added.
    Love all you made.
Wish I could get back into 'stitching' like this but there's just so little time left over at the end of any given day.

  7. Love your new finishes. Crosstitching is something I want to get back into. I haven't done it for 20 yrs. I'm a little rusty. Thanks for the sources on the patterns.

  8. Love your new finishes!!! Especially the Valentine one! I've been having a problem with Blogger also but it's when I want to DELETE a blog from my dashboard or Google Reader. It lets me delete the blog but the next day it's back on my list. I have been trying to delete blogs that are no longer being updated for months! Oh well. Enjoy your weekend!

  10. Oh those finishes are so cute. I love the Valentine one. Christine you find the cutest free patterns. I have to agree with less and less time to stitch. I keep hoping I will have one day to just sew but that day never seems to come.
Do you think you have 300 blogs you watch? I think it has that kind of limit.
I think I am not 100 percent sure but someone told me that.

  11. Hi, Christine:
Love your finishes. There are so many people that share free charts now it's incredibly generous of them. The reason you can't get the blogs to save and leave the save page is because we can only add 300 blogs, however we can follow as many as we want. It seems confusing to me but I've clicked follow this blog and it works but I can't add them to my blogs that I follow list that shows up on your blog. Can't figure it out.
    Hugs,
    Susan

  16. Hi, I just found your (free) Valentine's sampler on the sidebar here, but it doesn't seem to be linked to the pattern? Or at least I can't get it to work. Can you help? Or maybe give me a direct link? Thanks!!

  18. I had the same blogger problem. It seems there is a limit to how many you can add...but you can follow as many as you please. I just started all over and now add the ones that keep currant. But I still follow many. Your stitching is so very nice.

  19. Thanks for the links and the freebies! I just discovered your blog and I love it! And when I saw you were from Ireland that just made it better- as I would love to visit there someday, and am a big lover of Celtic music etc. :)

  21. What a cute Valentine tuck, it looks great with the hearts! Very cute bird with a heart also!

I don't know if you have tried anything new or not on your blogger issue. I came across that also. I couldn't add or delete blogs to my blogroll but I could add them to my Google Reader so I at least had them to read. I saw where another blogger simply started a new list so I tried that and so far it has worked! If you look closely at my blog sidebar, you will see where I have two lists going. The first one only has 10 blogs in it, then a new list starts. So when I want to add a new blog, I can just add them to my new list. I still can't delete from my old list but I'm happy that I can add to a new list. Hope this makes sense and helps you. If not, let me know and I'll try to explain it better, hehe. I love blogger but sometimes it is a hassle.
