I'm so pleased you called for a visit as I've just put the finishing touches to my Christmas decorating...would you like to see around a bit?

Down the hallway~
Here's my wee prim den/sewing room - a whimsical Christmas on this sideboard and shelves~

On the other wall on top of the computer cupboard and my bowl rack~ yes, it's a real pineapple!
(and aaarrrggghhh, I don't know what to do with cables always in the way!)

Well, come on through to the kitchen - yummy smell is an apple jack scented candle! This is 'The Primitive Shelf' all aglow for Christmas - I LOVE twinkly lights! This one with candle light
And this with little fairy lights and you can see my Santa on the stacking stools beneath, waving the stars and stripes!
Here are some counter top gatherings in the kitchen~

I want to thank you all for visiting last time - so glad you like my little x stitch gift for you and thank you for your lovely commentsI've so enjoyed you coming in for a while today - your friendship warms me through and through!

ReplyDeleteI pray you and your family have a wonderful and joyous Christmas.
I also want to thank you. I don't remember how I came across your blog, but so glad I did. Your decorating and prim crafts helped me to remember that "country" girl in me. Living in San Diego the last several years I really became caught up in the modern, fresh and beachy look. Though I love things on the simple side, I realized visiting your blog how much I miss color, especially our former red dining room.
As we prepare to move from San Diego, my plan is to decorate our next home more a reflection of us. Thank you again.
blessings, jilly

Hi Christine, my name is Janet. I have just found your blog through another blog. :) How lovely that you are from Ireland. I have ancestors from Scotland. And maybe Ireland too, who knows. :)

I am now a new follower of your blog. If you'd like to stop by my blog which is relatively new that would be great. Here is where to find it: http://throughthewoods2.blogspot.com
Have a wonderful day and Merry Christmas. Take care, Janet W

ReplyDeleteLecia
Prim perfect Christmas at your home! It all looks wonderful, I enjoyed the tour!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the freebie pattern, that is so very sweet of you! My goal for the new year is to spend more time stitching. I just don't have time for it like I used to. With each child, I did it less and less until the last child came along and I quit altogether. You are always stitching up a storm and that inspires me to get in gear. I know that I can do it and I always love to see your finished pieces so that's my goal for next year. =]
