More and more like Christmas!

Hello again! Another weekend past and a new week before us... and the countdown to Christmas well and truly underway in our house. It's the main topic of conversation amongst the kids and they have written lists and put in requests .... now all we need is the good behavior! LOL!

I did manage to complete one more thing from my list. It had to be a quickie and this snowman nodder was just the ticket~

I picked up a little treat for myself when out shopping - a lantern for my shelf

We went to the Christmas tree lighting up parade on Friday night but the town was packed and it was difficult to get a good view but we moved on up the route and saw the parade better. I think the theme was Christmas from around the world. There were some amazing costumes and decorated floats but my pics don't do them justice.

Santa waving to the crowds..
Hope you enjoyed your visit! Remember to be on your best behavior! Santa will be checking his list soon!

Have a lovely week and hope to hear from you!

  2. Hello Christine! I love your nodder, he's a sweet heart, but that lantern is just fabulous! Nothing like a parade! Just love them, they bring out the kid in me!

  3. Hi Miss Christine,

Oh, I am being a beary good bear. Flora - on the other hand - is being naughty. She spoiled our Thanksgiving picture so I think she has been moved to the "naughty" list at the North Pole.

We like the lantern. What a nice way to begin the holiday - with a "me" present.

    Hugs,
    Prudence

  6. I love your nodder and that lantern is so cute! The parade sure looked like fun!! I think I need to go to something like that to help get me in the mood! Time has just been flying by and with the weather we've been having it doesn't seem like it's time to be getting ready for Christmas.

    Have a great day!

  7. That nodder is adorable Christine! Too sweet! That looks like an amazing parade! The town we live closest to (and claim) always has the lighting parade the weekend following Thanksgiving - I only went a few times - I'm not a huge fan of freezing and the times I went it was mostly cars advertising some political party or union, etc. Not real conducive to the holiday spirit if you know what I mean! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead....Here, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  14. I like your snowman. I saw your pinkeeps. Don't you just love working on them. They are one of my favorite things.
It must be nice to get to have such a long time to plan for Christmas. I think having to get Thanksgiving out of the way before I start sometimes is a bit hard.
They just are so close together. Though, I could work on pumpkins 6 months a year.
I enjoy looking at all of your handwork.
    Have a nice week.

  15. My goodness your parade makes our look puny! lol Ours really shouldn't be called a parade. They have a few fire trucks and Santas sleigh...lol But the kids still love it.
    HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
