This is gonna be a quickie post as I really should be getting hubby's dinner ready but it seems this is always about the time I get to use the computer so here goes - hope nothing bubbles over!

I made some prim acorn bowl fillers from a free pattern by Deb of Paxton Valley and thanks to Steph for blogging about these freebies on her last post.

There are 2 sizes -
What do you think of when you see an old, unused orange towel that was supposed to be used for rags in dh's workshop? LONG story which I'll skip-

Yep, great minds think alike and the correct answer is PUMPKINS! YAY!

And here are a couple of pinkeeps ~ just for fun: they're freebies too from Primitive Betty's,

Well thanks for your comments and hope to hear from you all but I gotta run - what's that burning smell?!!! Burnt offerings tonight!
Best wishes

  1. Hello Christine~
what cute little pumpkins and acorns you created! Think your hubby will miss his shop towels? (smile) I think they turned out cute and love the texture for a change.
I might have to make some of the acorns as have some wonderful plaids in warm colors that would be perfect! TFS
    Wishing you a blessed day~

    Thanks, Sheila!
The pinkeeps came out great, also. Hey, wasn't
    "Burnt Offerings" a Lifetime movie?
