Woolie Wednesday & Our 18th Wedding Anniversary!

Hello sweet friends, I'm just popping in for a quick post as this is our 18th wedding anniversary and as hubby is off work today, we are going out and hope to enjoy a lovely meal together and reminisce about our wedding day and where the last 18 yrs have gone!

I treated myself to the luxury of some sewing time to finish this woolie project - something I have always wanted - a wool pineapple!

I didn't tea stain it and I'd love to hear from you - what do you think? To stain or not to stain?

Thanks so much for your visit!
Hope you all have a great day!

Wow, LOVE the pineapple-what a great idea. Either way, but I like it as it is-it's not lightly coloured and looks primtastic to me!

That pineapple is ADORABLE!! I've never seen one done up in wool before! Too, too, cute! As for staining...it looks great now, but I might be tempted to be just a wee bit of staining...but very, very, lightly!! LOVE it!

  20. Happy Anniversary! Very cute pineapple! I have never coffee/ tea stained wool before, but if you did do it, I guess the water should be sprayed on, not immersed? and very cold to avoid shrinkage ? If you do stain it, let me know, how you did it, and how it came out!

  23. Hi, Christine, Happy Belated Anniversary. I just saw that you follow my blog, Glen Oaks Primitives in Western Massachusetts, USA and I'm thrilled that I reached a follower across the pond! Thank you so much. Your
pineapple is very uniquely done and it is quite lovely, I'm partial to tea/coffee staining myself so I would spray it, but it's a personal preference really.
Looking forward to following your blog.
    Warmest Regards,
