Blogging rally call

Do you too detect a mood of despondency creeping in amongst bloggers, or is it just me?

Are people going to give up posting just because others haven't got the same enthusiasm as previously? It would be so easy just to say, 'OH well...' and drift away.

Surely there are still so many great fellow bloggers out there, well worth visiting and encouraging with a comment now and again.

Names and numbers are not what bloggings about to me - it's about friendships already forged and I don't want to desert my friends...

So I say to your posts...

  5. Some days I wonder where everyone is at....
I enjoy sharing on my blog, hoping I will spark a smile or maybe inspire someone...If I reach one, just one, may it be worth it all. The numbers are not what is important but....it sure does help your feelings :) And then there are days that I miss some really great posts...because there are so many!
    Anyway......have a great weekend.

  6. I think because the nicer weather is upon us (at least that is the reason for me!)
I love all of the friends I have made on blogger. And I still try to keep in touch when I can.
Life is starting to take over many of our lives and blogging seems to be put on the back burner for awhile.
Come Fall (When the children are back in school) we will all be back with some excellent posts and comments.
    Until then...Have a wonderful weekend :)

  8. I really think it's that time of yr. for many people, altho' I still get on here just about everyday.
When I had my shop, spring was always my slowest season. Everyone's out enjoying the warmer weather, and then there are proms, graduations, weddings, and gardening, etc.
But it really does make your day when someone takes the time to comment on your post, so I hope many will still continue to do that.

  9. I agree...it sometimes seems no one is out there. I post often but don't always hear from followers. I'm still lovin' all of them...they know I do...but I miss the connection.

  10. I'm still fairly new to blogging, since last fall anyway, and I do enjoy the new friendships I've found and checking in with some of them and also reading many others even though I'm not a regular follower to every one of them out there; it to is the way I start my day, along with prayer time, often including those of you out there. I've enjoyed what everyone has to share, the T2T, crafts, makeovers, recipes, etc. The stories of our beloved families and prayer requests and concerns. I'm not sure that everything I might blog about is of any interest to others but do enjoy the comments that I have had come back. I truly feel that all of you have something valuable to offer to the rest of us. I also feel that it isn't necessary to post each day and if you are able to than fine and if not then that's fine as well with out having to feel guilty about not making the time to do so.
~Blessings to all of you and I'll be looking for you again tomorrow.

  11. Hi Christine,
I think that for many of the original bloggers who have so many followers it becomes too difficult to visit so many blogs and leave comments. I feel that way some times and consequently don't always leave a comment. I do read all new posts though! A dear friend of mine just ended her blog (for now) because of the time it has taken away from her family, friends, and things she enjoys doing like stitching. I will miss her posts but I know her well enough that we email and speak on the phone so I will never lose touch with her.
I also believe Facebook has taken away many bloggers. Whatever the case I'm glad you're still here! Blessings

  12. I really enjoy blogging, especially the wonderful friends I'm making all over the world. Although we may never meet this side of heaven, I feel a connection, and I'm so thankful for all of the wonderful bloggers out there. I do know I've been writing and visiting a little less than I did during the winter, but I guess that's to be expected, when the weather is at it's best, we try to be outside more.
    Blessings,
    Marcia

  13. I'm still here, I'm one of your great fellow bloggers. Haha!

For myself I can say that I have been working in the yard as much as possible, even up to late evening. In between all the rain and storms that is. When I am forced to be inside, I am working on some much needed spring cleaning and getting ready for a garage sale. I've been busy, busy but I will always take a break to do some blogging. My family knows that my blog friends are special to me and I have to visit them daily.. even if it's only for a little bit.

  14. I do see life getting in the way of many bloggers. It is sad to see so many go. I still take delight in the ones I read everyday and I will continue to visit them until they are no more as well.
    Have a lovely week,
    Hugs,
    Amy
